Downshire Camping & Caravans Ireland is a family run business whose origins can be traced back to Thomas Preston founding a small grocery outlet in the early 1900's. From this simple beginning the business flourished into a thriving retail business with 4 retail outlets. 

Thomas Preston loved the outdoors, particularly camping and caravanning and in the late 50's this prompted him to start up Downshire Camping, supplying what was then the best range of tents and camping equipment Northern Ireland could offer. In 1958 the company was incorporated and with continued growth soon added caravans to its product offering.

Now managed by Thomas Preston's two sons Andrew and Michael, Downshire Camping & Caravans now have over 50 years' experience in retailing and still backup all their products with quality service.
